This page is to introduce the new motor mover that has now replaced the Powrtouch model 3 HD+PA, the model 4+PA twin & the model 6+PA twin, Its called the Evolution.

We have just fitted & tested the first one in the country, we had a customer needing an auto model due to health reasons so Powrwheel rushed one through for me to fit before I got off on holiday.(written 18/11/2011)
Its certainly the best mover I have ever seen, it glides the rollers into position with the wheels with barely a sound & its movement even across a rough compound is smooth, crisp & quite fast.
It has fully automatic engagement, just press 2 buttons on the handset & it engages the drive rollers with the wheels, the motor is positioned centrally behind the rollers & uses 2 arms to hold the roller solidly onto the wheels,(no other mover does this, (in the past the roller has been held at the motor end only,) this keeps an even pressure across the tread vastly reducing and even eliminating roller slip, it is extremely powerfull due to the use of a 4 pole motor (brushes), this is new cutting edge technology in the mover industry, all other movers have only the 2 poles. This makes the motors twice as powerfull & enables the Evolution to travel at up to 0.60 km per hour on the flat. It has all metal gears, most movers use a nylon crown wheel & steel pinion, this beauty is said to move 2800 kgs maximum chassis weight. (on the flat of course)
It has a 4 speed electronic control panel & famous 5 year no quibble guarantee as do all Powrtouch movers.
UK designed, manufactured & quality controlled to the highest accreditation ISO 9000:2008 & TUV approvals.
Now in production (November 2011) for fitting from January 2012 onwards.
Production of the Model 1, MD 3, compact Md 7 & all other PA models has now ceased to accomodate it on the production line. (The manual MD 3, 4 & awd 6 will still be produced though)
Initial launch price will be RRP of £1195,
